He found such a buyer in Karl Scheufele who came from a successful line of watchmakers himself.

Under the leadership of Karl and his wife Karin, Chopards grew over the next forty years to become an internationally renowned company, still showing the original precision and excellence of the original owner.  Although still active in the company today, their two children, Caroline Gruosi-Scheufele and Karl Friedrich Scheufele now share the presidency of the company and continue the long line of creating and manufacturing exquisite watches and jewelry with the quality and precision synonymous with the  Chopard  Name
