Celebrities are the trend setters of the fashion world. It has been like this since the beginning of time. The problem is that most celebrities have a lot of more money than the average person to spend on their wardrobe. Everyone wants to look like the celebs, so here are some ways you can, even on a less-than-celebrity budget.

Online Auction Websites. Some websites sell actual clothing that has been worn by celebrities. You can buy these pieces and add them to your wardrobe collection. It is a great way to get a good deal on celebrity fashion, however, depending on how popular the celebrity was, some of these fashion items may be out of reach. You can get some good deals, though, if you shop at the right time.

Designer Clothing Outlets. Celebrities always wear designer clothing. This means you can create fashion statements that mirror the celebs by shopping at stores that offer designer clothing at good prices. Most areas have discount clothing stores with overstock from designer labels. You can even use your Reach Prepaid Visa Card to purchase items and keep your spending habits in check.

Shop at Consignment Shops. Most people don’t like to shop at consignment shops because everything has already been worn. At some consignment shops, though, you can find designer clothing in good shape. If you don’t mind wearing something second-hand, this is a great place to shop for pieces that are like what the celebs wear.

Looking like a celeb doesn’t have to be expensive. You just have to know where to look for the best deals and be creative.

It was in 1860, in a small Swiss village named Sonvilier, that Louis-Ulysse Chopard opened his small workshop and began what was to become a world renowned company recognized for it’s precision and craftsmanship in the manufacturing of watches and fine time pieces.

This talent young man soon gained such a good reputation in precision and reliability that it was not long before he had buyers seeking out his wares all over Europe including Russia and Scandinavia. Today his watches are sold world wide and still enjoy the same name in quality and precision.

His son, Paul Lois, moved the company to La Chaux-de Fonds in 1921. Later in 1937, he re-established the company in Geneva which is famous for it excellent watchmakers and brought the company closer to a more diverse clientele. The company continued to grow and prosper and in 1943 it was passed down to the grandson of Louis-Ulysse Chopard, Paul Andre Chopard.

Years later, in 1943, when Paul Andre realized that none of his sons wished to continue with the family business, he set out to find a buyer who would continue the heritage his family had worked so hard for.

He found such a buyer in Karl Scheufele who came from a successful line of watchmakers himself.

Under the leadership of Karl and his wife Karin, Chopards grew over the next forty years to become an internationally renowned company, still showing the original precision and excellence of the original owner. Although still active in the company today, their two children, Caroline Gruosi-Scheufele and Karl Friedrich Scheufele now share the presidency of the company and continue the long line of creating and manufacturing exquisite watches and jewelry with the quality and precision synonymous with the Chopard Name

You are a media devotee, a fan of all things glamorous. Hollywood is the center of your world and you follow all events within it — learning the many secrets and scandals, the triumphs and celebrity returns. Therefore, it is only natural that you would seek out all of the fashions offered there, the endless waves of cloth and couture. You wish to mimic the ones you know so well — the faces you’ve memorized from slick pages and magazine ink. Purchasing their clothing lines is therefore easy. It is also to be expected.

None could deny the influence that the cinema stars and musical giants have upon the public. Their opinions, their philosophies, are offered to all — captured in lens flares and microphone echoes. When these celebrities choose to express themselves through clothing, such as Kimora Lee Simmons’ Baby Phat enterprise, the results are immediate: all wish to sample the styles, create their own worthwhile experiences. And this has caused a sudden shift in the arena of fashion. No longer are the typical designers setting the standards, creating the rules. Instead those who are defined by the adoration of the masses are now determining what those masses wear.

The celebrity fashion phenomenon cannot be ignored. Billions of dollars each year are generated through these brands — with the appeal rooted thoroughly in the creators themselves (as well as their ability to be sold at mainstream stores for those still conscious of their bank account balances). The once impenetrable reign of designers and their models has been replaced; and this trend seems poised to continue for the years to come. Individuals are demanding the media flavors for a price they can afford and such a demand is being addressed daily by the Hollywood royalty. It’s the cause and effect of style.
